Mexteds is celebrating 40 years in business in 2014, and to mark this milestone they are offering two scholarships to help support people studying, or wishing to study, sports turf management.
Current NZSTI students are encouraged to apply for the Mexteds 40th Anniversary Sports Turf Scholarship Open Award. The recipient will be awarded a $1,000 cash scholarship and one week's work experience with Mexteds. To apply for this award, you must be studying towards the National Certificate in Sports Turf Management Level 4, the National Certificate in Sports Turf Level 5, or the National Diploma in Sports Turf Management Level 6.
We also encourage you to let your friends and colleagues know about the Mexteds 40th Anniversary Sports Turf Scholarship Introductory Award. It will be awarded to someone who wants to enter the sports turf industry. This award is jointly sponsored by the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute and Mexteds and the award includes training from the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute to achieve the National Certificate in Sports Turf (Level 3) and one week's work experience with Mexteds.
Applicants are encouraged to provide a video submission explaining why they should chosen to receive the award.
